Biography

In Sep 1863, Ellsworth Isaac Randolph was born to Isaac Randolph and Frances Anna Goddard. [1]

On 1 Jun 1870 at the time of the 1870 US Census, head of household Isaac Randolph (age 47, born in OH) was employed as a Stone Mason and living on property valued at $2,000 with personal property valued at $100 in Washington Township, Ohio with his wife Ann Randolph (age 47, born in OH); daughter Elisabeth Randolph (age 24, born in OH); son William Randolph (age 12, born in OH); son Samuel Randolph (age 10, born in OH); son Isaac Randolph (age 8, born in OH); daughter Francis Randolph (age 4, born in OH); son James Randolph (age 2, born in OH); and daughter Julia Randolph (age 3 months, born in OH). On 12 Jun 1880 at the time of the 1880 US Census, head of household Isaac Randolph (age 56, born in OH) was employed as a Stone Mason and living in Salineville, Ohio with his wife, Frances A. Randolph (age 57, born in OH); son William Randolph (age 22, born in OH) employed as a Stone Mason; son Samuel Randolph (age 20, born in OH) employed as a Repair Hand; son Isaac Randolph (age 18, born in OH) employed as a Coal Laborer; daughter Anna Randolph (age 16, born in OH); son James Randolph (age 13, born in OH); and daughter Julia Randolph (age 10, born in OH). Marriage and Family

In 1885, Ellsworth married Priscilla Ann (Plunkett) Baldridge (1868-1952). [4]

On 13 Jun 1900 at the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household Ellsworth Randolph (age 37, born Sep 1863 in OH) was employed as a Stone Mason and living in a home that he owned free of mortgage in Columbiana, Ohio with his wife Prisilla Randolph (age 31, born Apr 1869 in OH); son John H. Randolph (age 12, born Jul 1888 in OH); daughter Sarah M. Randolph (age 4, born Jan 1896 in OH); and daughter Alma M. Randolph (age 2, born Sep 1898 in OH). Ellsworth and Prisilla had been married for 15 years; Prisilla had given birth to six children, three of whom were still alive at that time. Both of Ellsworth's parents were born in Ohio; both of Prisilla's parents were born in England. [5]

Death and Legacy

On 13 Nov 1939, Ellsworth died at age 76 in Salineville, Columbiana county, Ohio, USA [6]
