Biography

Jeremiah Randolph was born in 1785. He is the son of James Randolph and Mary Dye.[citation needed]

Jeremiah is named in his father James Randolph Sr's Will executed 15 June 1797 in Caswell County, North Carolina.[1]

His father's Will appears to be the only definite record. There are Census records for 1820 to 1860 for Georgia and 1812 War record for a "Jerimiah Randolph". There is a marriage record to Sarah Jane Dye who dies if Feb 1860. Then 4 Apr 1878 there is a Land Grant for 40 acres back in Pulaski County, Kentucky. But why did he go to Georgia? I can find no records for his birth or death. Additionally, records for his children are weak.

Randolph-1471 and Randolph-699 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate children created after merge of James Randolph Sr (father) profiles.
