MARRIAGE. IRWIN--RANNKEN (sic).--July 6,1918 in Egypt, Major Thomas Edward William Irwin, C. de G. , A. I.F., only son of William Irwin, Erinna Bega, to Margaret Laura youngest daughter of the late William Boswell Ranken, Kelloshiel, Bathurst.
Death of Spouse's father: MR. WILLIAM IRWIN. BEGA, Thursday. Mr. William Irwin, one of the pioneers of the Bega district, died at Erina, near Bega, late on Tuesday night, aged 85 years. His only son, Major Irwin (Croix de Guerre), served In the great war, and was one of the first to enlist from here, taking with him a company of Light Horsemen.
