Aaron Bouge Rankin was not 22 December 1818 in Dandridge, Tennessee, the son of Thomas B. Rankin and Jennett Bradshaw. He married Marjorie Lockhart. Aaron served in the Civil War with Co. D., 1st Tennessee Light Artillery. He died on 15 May 1884, aged 65, in Koleen, Greene, Indiana, and is buried in Howell-Koleen Cemetery, Koleen, indiana.[1]
