Biography

Sally was born in 1828. Sarah married Greenberry Storm on 20 November 1847 in Shelby County, Illinois.[1] Sarah married Adam (transcribed as Sam) Storm on 16 December 1852 in Shelby County, Illinois.[2] She passed away in 1913.

Funeral Services of Mother of Saumel Storm of This City Held This afternoon.

Mrs. Mary Ann Storm, widow of the late Adam Storm, died Wednesday morning at her home in Ash Grove township. Shelby county, at the age of 85 year. She had felt the effects of advacing age for some time, but was in a critial condition of healthy only about a week before her death.

Mrs. Storm was born July 10, 1828, her maiden name being Rankin. She came to Shelby county with her parents when she was a child, and settled in the eastern part of the count, where she has since lived.

She was first married to Greenberry Storm, and after his death became the wife of the late Adam Storm. She was the mother of thirteen children, ten of whom survive her death. These are: Curry Storm of Synder, Colo.; G.B. Storm of Mt. View, Mo.; Henry Storm of Lodi, Wis.; David and Charles Storm of Brownstown, Ill.; Mrs. John Patterson, also of Brownstown; Samuel Storm of Mattoon; Mrs. Sarah Ferguson of Trwobridge; Mrs. J.D. Clem of Windsow, and Milo W. Storm of Shelbyville.

The funeral was held from the Ash Grove Church at two o'clock this afternoon, with burial in the Ash Grove Cemetery. The services were conducted by Elder A.J. Nance of Hammond.
