Biography
Lila was born in 1903, the daughter of Albert James Rankin (1873-1944) and Eliza Emily Day (1877-1971). [1]
On 25th September 1926, at Coburg, Victoria, she married Henry "Harry" McConnell (1895-1971). [2]

- McCONNELL—RANKIN.—On the 25th September, at Coburg Baptist Church, by Rev. Frank Robinson, Henry, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. McConnell, of Walsh-street, Coburg, to Lila Florence, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rankin, of "Lil Blan," Murray-street, Coburg.

Harry died in 1971.
Lila passed away in 1991, aged 88. [5] [6]
She was buried with Harry in Ballarat Cemetery, following a service on 28th November 1991, in Private F, Section 5/4, Grave 11. [6]
