Matthew Ransom was born about 1661. [1] He was the son of Robert Ransom who died on 14 December 1697 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.[1]
He was a tanner by trade [2] He lived most of his life in Saybrook, Connecticut.[1]
Robert married Hannah Jones on 7 March 1682.[1][3] They had one child[1][3]:
He owned property in a place called Julian’s Brook. His place was known as Oyster River Quarter[4]
Matthew Ransom died prior to 1690 which is when Hannah Jones remarried.[1]
