William Ranson married Sarah Daking on 21 Feb 1800 in the Bildeston, Suffolk.
William and Sarah had at least four children:
Sarah (Ranson) Punchard (1801-1890), Harriet Ranson (1802-), Elizabeth Ranson (1808?-), and Robert Ranson (1808?-).
In 1841 Wm Ranson (age 55-59) lived at Sell's Farm in Edwardstone, Suffolk in the household of Edwd Cooper. William's granddaughter Harriet Punchard (20-24) also lived there.
In 1851 William Ranson (age 72, Ag Lab) lived in Rattlesden with his son-in-law Jeremiah Punchard (51, Ag Lab), daughter Sarah (49), six grandchildren: Ellen (17), Ann (13), Henry (11), Henry[George] (10), Alfred (8), and Harry (6), and great-grandson Herbert Punchard (3).
William Ranson passed away in 1855, aged 75 years.
