Raynolds-29 and Reynolds-1032 appear to represent the same person because: These are clearly the same person - married to Johann Dieter (aka John Teeter) Beam of Lincoln County, NC. I believe the hold up has been because of the difference in spelling of her last name, but I think either is right, and Reynolds is the much more common spelling. I would like to propose merging into Reynolds-1032. Any objections?

If you check out https://thebohmlegacy.wordpress.com/john-teeter-beam/ or Beam, A.R. Sketches of the Life of J.T. Beam and his 15 Children up to the Third Generation, (1898). you will see both spellings, plus a couple more.

DAR records use the name Rebecca Ranyolds for the wife of John Teeter Beam. Documentation is listed on his profile.

That being said, so many are used to the anglicized version of the name, simply pick a profile to merge the duplicates into, and then use the various names as "other names."

If you require assistance, there is always the arborists groups to help you with merges, and I would be happy to assist, as well. The goal is to have ONE profile per person.

Raynolds-29 and Reynolds-1032 are not ready to be merged because: No convincing evidence of correct spelling of surname.
Raynolds-29 and Reynolds-1032 appear to represent the same person because: The spelling of her maiden name is listed three ways in WikiTree:

Ranyalds-1, Raynolds-29, and Reynolds-1032

One source states: "John Teeter paid five shillings for Rebecca Ranyalds, his first wife. The bill of sale was at the home of Frank Beam of Lincoln County" Sketches of the Life of J. T. Beam and his Fifteen Children" by A. R. Beam (1898)
