On 7 Feb 1585/6 Robertus Raper (of Hardwycke Field House, son of Gulielmi [William] Raper) married Janeta Tayler (of Carleton) at Norton, St Mary. They had a son, James Raper born 1589, England. [1]
I am still researching this family as I do not see where either William Ocie Raper or Goldie Marie Quick was Robert Rapers Parents

On 21 Jan 1585/6 Gulielmus [William] Raper, pastor de Hardwicke Feld, parish de Norton was buried at Norton, St Mary. [2]
This information tells us that Robert's father William died about 2 weeks before Robert's marriage. it's a reason to suppose that William was either opposed to the match or his estate being inherited by Robert provided the necessary income to support a wife and family.
