Funeral services for Ephraim Rasmussen, 77, farmer and stockman of Lapoint, Utah, who died of a heart ailment at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Sessions, Salt Lake City, Utah, were conducted Tuesday noon in the Lapoint LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was at Lapoint.
Mr. Rasmussen was visiting at the home of his daughter when stricken.
Mr. Rasmussen was born in Denmark, July 23, 1866 and came with his parents when he was two years old, then he moved to Vernal and two years later to Lapoint.
Surviving are his widow, who also was visiting in Salt Lake; his daughter, Mrs. Sessions; four sons, Grand and Thurmer Rasmussen of Lapoint; Ollie Rasmussen of Roosevelt; and Lloyd Rasmussen, with the United States Marines; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Atwood and Mrs. Lillie Carter of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Minnie Black of Lovell, Wyoming and 11 grandchildren.
