An immigrant from Denmark, Robert married Emily (Hall) Rasmussen in Denver, where he had been working as a driver in 1908. They married on Christmas Eve, 1908.[1] After marrying, they moved to Barber, Wyoming, where he took up operation of a stock ranch.[2]
He passed away there in 1953 and is buried at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.[3]
