Mary Colhoun Rasor was born on 21 Oct 1897 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Harrison Latimore Rasor and Lucia Agnew.

Mary married Carroll Erskine Agnew on 6 Nov 1920, in Greenwood, South Carolina. The couple had at least one son Carroll Erskine Agnew (1923–1952). They also had two daughters Mary Joe Agnew and Lucia Agnew.

Mary Rasor Agnew died on 12 Dec 1990 (aged 93) in South Carolina.
