Her baptism was 19 Jun 1795 at present-day Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana, sponsored by Luis Judice, Commandant of the District & Maria Robichaux. Her birth name is given the Spanish spelling of "Maria Clemencia". [2]
On Dec 1795, "Clementa Rassicau" is a 9-month old baby living with her family along Bayou Lafourche in Louisiana.[3]
Marie Clemence married Edouard Bergeron in 1814 in Louisiana as we know through other records, but a marriage records hasn't been found. Their children were:
She died on 9 Apr 1840 in Lafourche, Louisiana, United States aged 45.[4] A probate and inventory of her estate was held at the Thibodaux Courthouse on 30 Dec 1840. Her husband and heirs were named.[5][6]
