Be aware some one may be using your name for scams again. I got an email today seemingly advertising a weight loss program. They asked if I remembered these 5 photographs.

Cousin Ron, I've started building up a paternal tree here on Wikitree, attempting duplicate my decades of records built on Ancestry with this platform. I'm fumbling around a bit at the moment. A big conundrum for me starts with Isaac Rathbun. He already has an associated profile built, but his birth place is not correct for sure. I've got far more solid sources which gives me confidence in my information. I'm resistant to connecting the existing profile; do I contact this member 1st and try to get him to accept my evidence? Or, do I make the tie and make changes with the new sources? Once Isaac is in my tree, it will be possible to move on to Rev Daniel Rathbun whom we share in common. Any insight will be appreciated.

Hi Ron.

Unknown-403360 surname is Lorenz. Thanks! I'm trying to build ancestor chart of Manor-200 for a cousin. Spouse Reaume-560 is fairly complete but need you to do some merging to build Manor-200. Thanks!

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your contributions to WikiTree.

I notice that you are using as your source: Gedcom Ref 9333381 P2 As per our Honor Code and Pre-1700 Certification, this is not an adequate source. Sources are vitally important, so if you could try and add better sources here it would benefit our whole tree.

Thanks!

Hi cousin (3C1R)

As a member of the Military and War project I like to see that members of the military are categorized as such. Rathbun-552 is your private profile so I can;t edit. He probably Knew Drexler-113, also in Navy, WWII as their spouses are 1st cousins. Notice Drexler-113 has category Navy just above his Biography and if you click on the Navy Cat you can see a big roster of fellow Navy vets. Please add above = Biography = of Rathbun-552. Also a direct link to FindaGrave https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/7406069 should replace the Family Search indirect link.

Hi Ron, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in England. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research in 2015.
