The long awaited 1940 Census was released on April 1, 2012. We are slowly discovering information from this census. Today November 24, much to our delight we discovered that Leonard Ratliff and his wife Agnes had several other relatives (extended family) living at 603 So. Walters St. in San Antonio. Please see entry on 1940 Census. Leonard Ratliff was head of household, age 42; Agnes Plummer was 26; their daughter Mary Louise was 13; their son Leonard Jr. was 2; Leonard Sr.'s mother Susie was 65 (widow); his mother-in-law Minnie Plummer was 65 (widow); and finally his brother-in-law Matthew Wesley Plummer was 19 and we see he was a loader at an army warehouse. Remarkably, this is the first time we know that all these relatives were living together in the same household.
