Biography

Jacques Raudot (1638 - 20 February 1728, Paris) was the co-Intendant of New France between 1705 and 1710 with his son Antoine-Denis Raudot.

Intendant of New France from 1705 to 1711; b. in 1638; d. at Paris, 20 Feb. 1728.

1705/09/07 --- Jacques Raudot, and sons Antoine-Denis and Jacques-Denis disembark at Quebec. Arriving with them is Pierre-François-Xavier de Charlevoix, an ordained Jesuit deacon assigned to teach grammar at the college.
