Elizabeth Rawling, bapt. St Andrew Par Reg and Nonconf, Newcastle; 8 July 1672; bur. St Andrew, Newcastle, 7 January 1712; dau of Henry Rawling of Newcastle, sister of Sir Benjamin; m. Saint John’s, Newcastle, 11 Feb 1700, as his first wife, William Davison, of Beamish, Durham (bpt 2 Feb 1673, d. 27 Aug 1734), 2nd son of Timothy Davison of Beamish, Mayor of Newcastle (b c 1641; d. 20 Dec 1696) by Elizabeth Blacket (d. 10 Sept 1694), dau of Sir William Blacket of Newcastle-on-Tyne, Bart.
