Research Notes

FamilySearch queries. There are 69 trees with Thomas Rawlins, born in England between 1550 and 1580. There are 13 trees with "Rawlings".

Most of these have Agnes Stone as his wife. But the "OurFamily" source makes it unlikely that this is our Thomas, since he married Agnes years after the birth of his son, Thomas.
Other trees have him born in 1567, his parents as Thomas and Mary, spouse as Sarah Maddox,

Considering that we do not know the ancestry of Thomas (alleged son) and the fact that he was born considerably before this couple was married, I believe that these parents should be disconnected. Objections?

Rawlins-413 and Rawlins-208 appear to represent the same person because: Both are listed as Father of thomas Rawlins, being merged

Thomas is 14 degrees from Jefferson Davis, 15 degrees from Bobbie Hall and 13 degrees from Henry VIII of England on our single family tree. Login to find your connection.
