Benjamin Holliday Rawlins was born in 1786 in Goochland County, Virginia to John Rawlins (1762-1820) and Nancy Anne (Holladay) Rawlings (abt.1762-1800).[1][2][3] He married Sarah Miller on 1 Sep 1810 in Nelson County, Kentucky.[4][5] He enlisted in the United States Army on 29 Apr 1813, serving for one in 28th Regiment under Colonel George Stockton.[1] Benjamin lived in Estill County, Kentucky from about 1813 until his death in 1860.[1][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] He died 1860 in Estill County, Kentucky[1]
