Biography

Joseph was born 3 May 1844. He is the son of James Ray and Mary Maynard. Burial in Piso, Pike County Kentucky.

Joseph was a private in the 39th KY Vol Infantry (Mtd), Union Army, and participated in a number of actions in Kentucky.
