Research Notes

  • I have found Barbara Colton’s book “Mc(G)Laughlin Family – Early Settlers of Vinton and Athens Counties, Ohio” to be accurate in the information she presents. She has cited many sources including personal recollections from family and friends. This book in my opinion is a very good genealogy research tool. ( Arthur Van Riper)
