Biography
Edmund James Ray was born in 1870 in Sandridge, Victoria, Australia, the son of Emma Rachel Norris and John Ray.[1]
He married Lavinia Oakley in 1900 in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.[2] Their children were:
- Thelma Olive Ray (1900–1951)
- Clyde Cecil Ray (1902–1908)
- Albert Walter Ray (1904–1961)
- Sylvia Beatrice Ray (1906–1982)
- Gladys Lavinia Ray (1907–)
- Edmund Allan Ray (1913–1978)
Edmund died in 1939 in Sale, Victoria. Buried in Sale Cemetery, Plan 1,,Sec D, Grave Spec 5A.[3]
