Thomas was born in 1757 in North Carolina, United States. He was the son of Thomas Rayburn I and Kesiah (Hodges) Rayburn. [1]
He married REBECCA ADAMS. She was born Abt. 1765 in Virginia.
There are two John Marion Rayburn's, that I know of, and possibly more. This John Marion Rayburn (b. c.1786 NC) is the grandfather of John Marion Rayburn (b. c.1835 MS), who is the son of Thomas Payton Raburn (b. c.1807 TN) and Jane Farrell (b. 1809 TN). According to the DNA Project, Thomas B. Rayburn (c.1750-1755 NC) and Rebecca Adams (c.1750-1770), are the parents of this John Marion Rayburn. [2]
In 1786 Thomas (age about 36) was living in Surry County, NC.[3]
In the 1790 census Thomas (age about 40) was living in Surry, North Carolina, United States.[4]
