10/25/2017 more research needs to be done on this profile. I believe the marriage date may be wrong and the place of death. Right now it shows that he was not married to Ann until 11 years after the birth of their son Thomas. It also shows Thomas being born in America while his parents were in Scotland. James or Thomas is the immigrant to America but at this point I am not sure which. It is possible that James traveled back and forth from Scotland to America. He seemed to have the funds to do so.
James Rayburn was born in Scotland.
James Ryburn, son of James Ryburn / Reyburn and Agnes Cadow, was born on 12 Mar 1732 and baptized on 19 Mar 1732 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.[1][2][3]
James Reyburn married Ann Connel / Connell on 2 Jul 1761 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. Ann's father was Robert Connel[4]
They had several children, born in Kilmarnock, Scotland.
Profile was created with a birth date of 25 Sep 1737, but the sources state James, son of James Ryburn and Agnes Cadow was born 19 Mar 1732 in Kilmarnock
Death date of 1885 is incorrect because he would be too old.
