Nobles B., son of Comfort, was by trade a Shoemaker, removed from New Canaan, CT, to New York City, where he m. Hannah Wood, August 1, 1808, and where his two eldest children were born.
He removed to Rensselaerville, New York about 1812, where he had the others. They were:

Jane, born February 5, 1822, m. October 28, 1840, George W. Peck, living at Evanston, widow
Edward Mortimer, born April 16, 1824, m. in NYC, May 23, 1851, Sarah Cunningham, and died in the war of the Rebellion. He had two sons who died in infancy.
Elvenah Cooper, born October 2, 1826, m. May 4, 1844, Rev. George C. Wells, and died at Albany, June 6, 1869
