Biography
The son of Eugene Raymond and his second wife, Eliza (Cady) Norris, Will was born in Yankee Springs in1874.[1] His father passed away in 1890.[2] In 1900, at the age of 26, he and his sister, Carrie, lived together in Yankee Springs, while Will worked as a farm laborer. The next year, Will married Adeline An Losey (1865-1937), the daughter of Andrew J. Losey and Melissa Moffitt, marrying in Jackson, Michigan on April 26, 1901.[3] They had two children together:
Ruth Beatrice Raymond (1903-1963)
Laura M. Raymond (1905-1987)
They made their home in Tompkins Township, where Will farmed.[4]His sister-in-law, Nellie Losey, also lived with the family.[5][6] His wife passed away in 1937.[7]
William passed away at the age of 81 and is buried at Lincoln-Pomeroy Cemetery in Tompkins, Michigan.[8]
