Biography

Isabella was the daughter of the Rev. Samuel Raymond and his wife Isabella (Child) Raymond.

She first married John Mayne of Teffont Ewyas and was executor of his Will of 1785. [1]

She married, secondly, Archibald, Earl of Dundonald, in 1788. [2]

She passed away in 1808. Isabella's Will names her brother, the Rev. Samuel Raymond as executor, to whom, among other bequests, she leaves her harpsichord. Of interest, there is a mention of the late Christopher Batt, probably the uncle (or possibly grandfather) of her first husband, whose mother was Elizabeth Batt, daughter of Christopher Batt of Kensington, who had a brother, also named Christopher, who died in 1756.[3][4]
