Anne Raymond was a daughter of Mercy (Sands) and Joshua Raymond Jr. (1660-abt.1704). Anne probably was their last born child, in 1701, the year per her online memorial site, at which time her birth family resided in New London, Connecticut (their earlier children were born on Block Island).
Anne (alternatively spelled Anna) married 5 March 1724 at Norwich, Connecticut, William Whiting (1704-1787), Rev. Eliphalet Adams officiating [1]. They had the following children, as listed in the caption of Anne's memorial site:
Anne (Raymond) Whiting died 26 Nov 1773. Her death probably occurred at Bozrah, Connecticut, thereafter recorded at Norwich (Barbour transcript [2]). Her grave is in Parker Cemetery, Bozrah, New London County, Connecticut, USA [3]. The inscription on her grave stone reads:
In Memory of M. Anne Whiting Consort of Collonel William Whiting, a Person of Eminent pity and Enjoyed ye Comfort of her Religion, both Living & Dying. Died Novbr 26, 1773 Aged 72 Y
