Edward Raymour was born in 1801 in Stratton[1], Vermont. He was the child[1] of Sarah Hale and John Raymor, and the husband[1] of Almira Bayne and Abigail Davis.

In the name of God and men I Edward Raymore of Ridgeway Orleans County New York at the age of sixty four years being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in mannor following that is to say
After my debts and funeral expenses are paid and suitable grave stones are erected to my memory,
First I give and bequeath to my wife Abigail Raymor for use during her life of the one third of My real estate and also the use of the household furniture not otherwise disposed herein and disposed of during her lifetime.
Second I give and bequeath to my son George B. Raymor twelve hundred dollars and to my son Edward H. Raymore one thousand Dollars to my Daughter Mahitable Ann Hill five hundred and fifty dollars to my Daughter Ebinett Raymor four hundred Dollars and the Melodian now in the house and a good feather bed and bedding and to my Daughter Emerett Raymor four hundred dollars and a good feather Bed and bedding.
Third, I give and bequeath to my grandson Edward William Hill fifty dollars and to my grandson Juluis Johnson Brown Eight hundred Dollars and my silver watch.
Forth after the death of my wife Abigail Raymor I give and bequeath out of the avails of her third of the real estate to my son George B. Raymor one hundred and fifty dollars and the balance of the said avails of the said one third of the real estate afore said I give and bequeath to my Daughters Ebinett and Emerett Raymore share and share alike also all the household furniture that may be left at the decease of my said wife Abigail Raymor and lastly I do hereby Nominate and appoint my son George B. Raymor and Luther Porter to be executors of his my last will and testament Revoking all former wills by me Maid in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 23 day of July 1866.[4][1]
