Biography
Floyd Alton Raynor was born 24 July 1908 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. He was the son of Kenneth Fletcher Raynor (1860-1950) and Harriet Daniel (Colvin) Raynor (1864-1946).[1]
Floyd A. Raynor married Addie V. Glover on 02 February 1929 in Liberty County, Florida. They were the parents of at least two children.[2]
Floyd Alton Raynor passed away 10 October 1998 in Escambia County, Florida. He was 90 years old.[3][4] He was buried in Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida.[5] Per his obituary, "He was the first fire chief of the Pace Volunteer Fire Department, having served until 1960. He retired from the Florida Department of Transportation in 1978. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milton and the Joe Bamberg Sunday School Class of First Baptist."[6]
