Biography
When Spencer Rea was born on June 2, 1804, in Greenville, South Carolina, his father, Luke, was 28 and his mother, Martha, was 29. He married Elizabeth Pate and they had five children together. He then married Nancy Comer and they had three children together. He died on June 1, 1879, in Union, Louisiana, at the age of 74.
