Biography

Bill or Willie Rea was born in Forth River Cottage on the Ballygomartin Road, Belfast, Ireland on 30 Mar 1914. His father, James Rea was an insurance inspector at the time. His mother was Mary Jane Rea, formerly McCartney. Forth River Cottage was the family home and was the home of Bill’s mother’s parents.^[1]

Musician and teacher. Talented pianist and composer.
