He married Sarah Dunlap, 1789, Rockingham County, Virginia. George and Sarah had five children, Abraham, Hannah, Rebecca, George, and William.
He married Elizabeth Ader, 1803, Rockingham County, Virginia, George and Elizabeth had ten children, Abraham, Jesse, Sarah, Dortha, John, Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary, George, and Anna.
Burial: Zion Evangical Cemetery, East Germantown, Wayne county, Indiana.
