Lucy Mary, the daughter of Alberic Reaume and Anne Marie Renaud; was born on 18 April 1897 in Ojibway, Essex, Ontario, Canada and baptized the same day at Assumption Church, Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada. ^[1]

Lucy was the sister of 5 siblings:

• Ida Marie Reaume Bouffard (1895)

• Henriette Hattie Marie Reaume Tourangeau (1901)

Lucy's husband was Désiré Gemus, IV, the son of Désiré Gemus, III and Melinda Parent. He was born in Buckingham, Quebec, Ontario, Canada in 1898.

• I have fond memories of my Aunt's who all survived their spouses and lived together in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada until their respective deaths. The best memory I have is of the beautiful Sunday afternoon my sisters and I spent with my Mimi’s (Eva) sisters - Aunt Lyn, Aunt Lucy, Aunt Hattie and Aunt Ida watching them making homemade donuts, yummy!
