Biography

Henry Rector was born in 1715 in Germanna, Spotsylvania County in the Colony of Virginia. He was the son of Hans Jacob Richter and Anna Rischbach.[1]

Henry married Nancy Anne Robinson in the Colony of Virigina around 1740.[1]

Henry died on 24 June 1799 and is buried at Rectortown Cemetery, Rectortown, Virginia.[2][3]

Henry Rector is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A094029.
According to DAR records, Henry was a Revolutionary War patriot, who donated foodstuffs to the American Army. [6] He was deeded land as early as 1743 in Prince William County, Virginia. Land records of Prince William and Fauquier Counties contain many entries pertaining to Henry. The account of his estate, dated 20 October 1804 went to his living children and grandchildren.[citation needed]
