Robert Redhead was born in Northumberland, England.
Robert was christened on 1745/02/09 at Rothbury.[1]His father Gabriel Redhead was conveyed lands at Thirston from Barbara Tomlin, widow, of West Thirston in 1736. These lands Gabriel bequethed in his will of 1767/01/26 to Robert, then of Amble. The lands eventually became the property of The Duke of Northumberland.[2]
