In 1916 he was a chocolatier.

He enlisted 7/2/1916 and served in WWI with the 38th Battalion S/N 1271.

In October 1917 he was wounded in France with a gunshot wound to the right knee.

He died suddenly age 42 and at the time was living at 268 Koornang Rd Carnegie.

His wife’s sister and husband were living at 254 Koornang Rd.
