Mabel C. Bircheat, 74, died Sept. 12, 1999, at Heritage Health Care Center in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating and Sunset Funeral Home directing. Visitation is tonight from 7-9 at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, J. C. Bircheat of Tuscaloosa; daughters, Dot Watkins of Northport and Charlotte Channell of Coker; sister, Jewel Gamble of Tuscaloosa; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be David Watkins, Greg Watkins, Johnny Gamble, Curtis Gamble, Ken Hoots, and Greg Boothe.
