Biography

Martha Emeline Reed, daughter of David Reed and Elizabeth Wilson, was born in Kentucky according to her 1860 census enumeration,[1] but other sources, including her obituary, give Missouri as her birthplace. She was born July 1848, according to the 1900 census.[2] Later sources, including the California death index, appear to agree.

Reed-10695 and Reed-449 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same parents and the same first name. Martha Reed's birth year varies on censuses between 1848 and 1850, but those are so close to each other that I don't think there's much question they represent the same person, especially because neither profile has much in the way of sources right now.
