At the time of the 1860 census, Addie was six years old and lived in Prairie City, Illinois, with her parents, David and Susan, and siblings - Sarah (13), Laura (11), Oliver (9) and Mary (5). [1]
In 1870, Addie was 17 and living with her parents and two siblings - Oliver (19) and Mary Catherine (15) - on their farm in Greenwood County, Kansas. [2]

On March 1, 1875, Addie (21) and Winfield (25) were living in Lyon County, Kansas, with daughters Elsey (2) and Susan (6 months). Also living with the family was a 15-year-old farm hand named Ander McDivit. [3]
In 1880, Addie (27) was living with her husband Winfield (32) and their children Elsey (7), Susan (5), Ira (3), Grace (2) and William (1 month) in Madison, Greenwood County, Kansas. [4]
In 1895 they were living in Kansas with 7 children. [5]
In 1900, Addie (47) and Winfield (52) were living in Center Township, Lyon County, Kansas, with their children Harry (23), Raymond (16), Pearl (14), Roy (11), Hazel (9) and Fay (5). Winfield and Harry both listed thier occupation as farmer. This record shows they had been married 28 years, e.g. 1872.[6]
She passed away in 1906 in Madison, Kansas.
Addah was buried in Blakely Cemetery, Madison, Greenwood County, Kansas. [7]
