I believe that he and family lived in the Pendleton District (Pickens County) in 1800. There are later associations in AL with families that are confirmed to have been from that area such as Powell, Murphree, Liverman (Livermore), etc. Any help would be appreciated. There are multiple William Reid/Reeds across SC in 1800 as well as several in the Pendleton/Greenville/Spartanburg area.
