Biography

Sarah Reeder was born about 1744 in New Jersey. Sarah passed away about 19 June 1820 in Ovid, New York.[1]

"...he married for his first wife, Sarah Reeder, who was the mother of his children; among whom were James, Jeremiah, Clark, Rebecca, Freeman and others. General David Brooks was the son of John Brooks (Irish) and Rebecca Van Horn (Dutch), probably of Middlesex County NJ." "... David made a will which was proved 1 May 1826; filed Seneca County NY.
