Biography
Shirley Gertrude (Reeder) Hughes was born 9 Oct 1909 In Nebraska. She was the daughter of Franklin Lee Reeder and Sarah Gertrude "Gertie" Kiester. She married Thomas Warren Hughes, the son of Charles Emery and Minnie Eva (Stancliff) Hughes, in March 1927.
They had three children:
- Shirley Laverne (Hughes) Love Conners (b. 1927)
- Wendell Durward Hughes (b. 1929)
- Leona Jean (Hughes) Schmid (b. 1931)
Shirley Gertrude (Reeder) Hughes passed away on 2 January 1972 at Chico, Butte County, California. She is buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Corning, Tahama County, California. [1]
