John,

Please note the information given by Stilwell and Nathan Stout. Cited above. Take note that Joseph, James's brother, married Mary Ashland who died and married second Martha Reeder an Stilwell names their son Reeder. There was a Jemima Titus who was also from Hopewell who married Daniel the great grandson of James II and Catherine.

Jemima Titus was the wife of (4) great grandson Daniel Stout, (3)grandson of Aaron Stout, (2)son of Jacob Stout, (1) son of James I and Catherine Simpson Stout. There are also questions regarding Findagrave sources.

Please look at the sources carefully. The wills are very helpful.\ John Correct sorry of the mistake. She married Daniel Stout-2886.  She married Daniel Stout as in last sentence of former reply.  Did you look at the track back to James Stout I and Catherine Simpson parents of both James II who married Jemima Reeder and Jacob Stout-72 married Grace Parke-87  This is the ancestral line down from Jacob and Grace Parke Stout is: Jacob Stout-72 son of James Stout I and brother of James (II) Stout and father of Aaron Stout-2614 father of Daniel Stout-2886, Jemima Titus_836 wife of Daniel Stout.  Begin with Jemima Titus-836 and go up the ladder. These profile are very lacking in accessible sources and require much editing. Nathan Stout, John Stilwell and wills will help. I have wills up to 1800 so hope to clarify and verify. There were many Titius' who married Stouts. Reliable sources are best.
