Biography
Ida, known as 'Olivia' probably to distinguish between her and her mother, was born in 1858 in Turkey. She was the daughter of Thomas Bowen Rees and Ida Josephine Langdon.
In the census of England 1871 she was living in Cheshire with her family. [1]
She married Stephen Gordon in Smyrna (Izmir), Turkey in 1879 [2]and they had 7 children.
Olivia passed away in Surrey in 1946 [3][4]and was buried in St Mary the Virgin church in Holmbury, Surrey. [5]Probate was granted in Alexandria, Egypt in 1947. [6]
