Biography
Mary Ann Norman was born in 1839. Her mother's maiden name was White. [1]
In 1861 Mary Ann was one of 3 daughters living with parents John (aged 74) and Elizabeth (aged 56). John was a Freestone Mason. [2]
No record has been found for her marriage to James Dooley who died in 1867. The only evidence Mary Ann married someone with the surname Dooley was her 2nd marriage record listing her father's name.
In 1869 widower Frederick Wookey married widow Mary Ann Dooley, nee Norman. [3] Mary Ann was 11 years younger than Frederick. Her father was listed as John Norman.
In 1871 They were living in College Place, Brandon Hill, Bristol with 6 of Fredericks children. . [4]
Mary Ann died aged 84 in 1925. [5]
