Biography

Laura was born in 1887. She was the daughter of Samuel Reese and Helen Malvina Latroy Geare. The family lived in Baltimore, Maryland, where Samuel Reese was a proofreader for the Baltimore Evening Sun.

Laura married Remer Gordon Parrish in Alabama in 1911. ^[1] The couple had at least three children, and for several years lived in Muscogee County, Georgia. ^[2] After working as a stage actress, Laura took her children to Hollywood to get them involved in the film business.

Laura and Gordon were divorced in 1940. ^[3]

Laura passed away in 1977. She is buried in Hollywood Forever Cemetery in California. ^[4]
