Biography

Alex Graham was born in 1916. He was the son of Harold Daldy Reese and Alice Maud Ella Graham. ^[1] He passed away in 1937 age 20. ^[2]

MR ALEX. GRAHAM REESE SAD DEATH OF POPULAR YOUNG MAN It is with feelings of deep sadness that the death is recorded of Mr Alex. Graham Reese, elder son of Mr and Mrs H. D. Reese, of Fencourt, Cambridge, aged 20 years. Alex, had lived all his life in the Cambridge district and he was a very popular younger member of the community. His death occurred after a long illness. He was born at French Pass and was educated at the Fencourt Primary School and the Hamilton Technical School. For several years he had been employed at the Hautapu factory. He was actively interested in all sport and was a prominent member of the Boy Scouts and the Presbyterian Bible Class. His mother and father, Mr and Mrs H. D. Reese, and a brother and sister, Bruce and Nora, will have the sympathy of the whole district in their loss. ^[3]
