Biography
Thomas 'Reeve' was baptised on 25 Jun 1732 at Hilmarton, Wiltshire, son of Cornelius and Anne, parishioners to Lyneham.[1] To the immediate left of the entry is "Goate" i.e Goatacre. The reason for the reference to Goatacre, a hamlet of Hilmarton, is unclear. There doesn't appear to have been a chapelry at Goatacre at this time.[2]
